How to use BikeBoxWelcome to BikeBox Station!
As a customer of BikeBox Station, you can use the bicycle parking service as part of your commute, errands or train journey. The basic service is a locked, easy-to-use bicycle parking in the Finnpark Central Railway Station parking garage, The address is Rautatienkatu 25, 33100 Tampere. You can find the BikeBox Station immediately on the right side of the entrance to the parking garage, on the Rautatienkatu side.
You can become a user of the service by registering as a BikeBox Station customer, accepting the terms of use and paying a usage fee based on the period and method of use you have chosen. Each registered customer receives a personal four-digit code that opens the automatic door of the BikeBox Station.
The access code is personal. The user of the service must not disclose their own code to outsiders. The code is keyed into the reader located next to the door on the Rautatienkatu side. The code is always preceded by #, i.e. the code is keyed in the form #0000. The Station’s door opens and closes automatically. The user must ensure that the Station’s door locks when leaving. Unauthorized persons must not be allowed into the premises.
The customer has the option of using instead of the numeric code an RFID key tag, which allows the door to be opened without keying in the code. The RFID tag can be redeemed for use by paying a separate deposit. The deposit will be returned to the customer when the customer relationship is terminated and the tag has been delivered back to BikeBox.
BikeBox Station is in use 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. At night, the gate of the parking garage might be closed, but you can connect to the control room next to the gate, which is on call around the clock and opens the door when you announce that you are going to the BikeBox Station’s bicycle parking.
NOTE! The safety of the bike park is ensured by user registration, control of the use of the doors and video surveillance. However, we recommend that you also equip your bike with your own lock inside the Station and take care of the appropriate insurance cover. It is always easier to minimize the possibility of misuse in every way than to find out what has already happened.

Liittymällä asiakkaaksi saat henkilökohtaisen avainkoodin, jonka avulla saat pyöräsi parempaan turvaan Stationin tiloihin kellonajasta riippumatta. Vuosiasiakkaana voit lisäksi tilata lisäpalveluna RFID-avaimenperätunnisteen avainkoodin rinnalle. Tunnisteen avulla pääset Stationin tiloihin näppäilemättä avainkoodia.

BikeBox Station offers high-quality and safer bicycle parking year-round, 24 hours a day. The Station is especially suitable for commuters or regular cyclists and is tailored primarily for regular use.
We offer a locked and weather-protected parking space for your bike. By becoming a customer, you will receive a personal key code that allows you to keep your bike safer in the Station's facilities regardless of the time of day. As an annual customer, you can also order an RFID key fob tag as an additional service alongside the key code. With the tag, you can access the Station's facilities without typing the key code.
